For over 20 years Westchester has been my home. As a Westchester County Legislator, I am committed to helping my fellow residents and protecting the health, environment and economic well-being of Westchester County.

 

Since joining the Board of Legislators in 2018, I have proudly  voted in favor of public safety, workers rights and restoring our county assets. We’ve passed a law banning gun shows on county property, the Immigration Protection Act, the Wage History Anti-Discrimination Act, a law to spur hiring of service-disabled veteran-owned businesses in county contracts and raising the age for sales of tobacco and vaping products from 18 to 21.

 

I’ve worked to hold the utility companies accountable when thousands of residents were left without power during storms, participated in workshops to encourage young women to learn about government service, and I’ve approved long overdue county infrastructure repairs and improvements. In addition, I serve on the county Airport Advisory Board, fulfilling a promise to my constituents that I would always make the airport a priority in my district.

Nancy currently chairs the Committee on Law and Major Contracts and is Vice Chair of the Planning, Economic Development and Energy Committee. She also serves on Budget and Appropriations, Legislation, Public Safety, Environment and Health, Social Services and Appointments. Nancy is a member of the Families Task Force and is the Legislative Liaison to the Airport Advisory Board.
